ERIC J. MILIE, DO, F.A.C.O.I., ERIE PHYSICIAN, CHOSEN AS SECRETARY/TREASURER of POMA

Eric J Milie DO Harrisburg, PA, Monday, June 11, 2018 – Eric J. Milie, DO, F.A.C.O.I., a resident of Erie, PA, was recently chosen as secretary/treasurer of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), a statewide organization for physicians holding the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Dr. Eric Milie is board-certified in internal medicine. He is the assistant clinical professor of internal medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a physician at the Osteopathic Internal Medicine Associates in Erie. He is also an emergency and internal medicine physician at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie. Dr. Milie is the program director, internal medicine residency at Millcreek Community Hospital as well as the medical director of the Erie office of Southern Care Hospice.

Dr. Milie holds a fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists and serves as chair of POMA’s District 7 He is also a delegate to the POMA and the American Osteopathic Association governing bodies.  

Dr. Milie is a graduate of Mercyhurst College, and a 2004 graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie.

Dr. Milie was installed as secretary/treasurer during POMA’s 110th Annual Clinical Assembly, held May 2-5, 2018, at the Radisson Valley Forge and Valley Forge Event Center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.  The assembly attracted over 1,400 physicians, residents, interns and medical students, plus family members.
