POFPS 47th Annual CME Symposium

The 47th Annual CME Symposium, which will be held in Hershey, PA, and simulcast August 5-7, 2022.  

Our expert faculty will provide 20 hours of medical updates in both live in-person, virtually and on-demand. The schedule will be available by late June. Be sure to check back for updated information as we get closer to the event!

Education Program

The Education Committee has been hard at work planning the curriculum for POFPS22.  As always, the program will feature expert speakers who will discuss cutting-edge medical updates, lectures applicable to Pennsylvania licensure requirements and relevant information to help you provide the best possible care to your patients. There will be sessions on cardiology, dermatology, mental and mood disorders, and much more!  Over the course of three days, there will surely be something for everyone!  Click here to view the tentative schedule.

Guests who prefer to call to make reservations may call 855-729-3108 and ask for the room block for the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physician Society at Hershey Lodge, Thursday, August 4th to Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. Our reservations team is available seven days a week from 8 AM - 8 PM to assist you.

The Group's Room rate is $349.00 per room per night plus 11% taxes = $387.39

Credit cards are charged a one night's advance deposit including tax at time of booking a room reservation.

Please be aware that the room block cut-off date is Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. - YOU NEED TO BE REGISTERED FOR THE CONFERENCE TO RECIEVE THE RATE. If you do not register the Hershey will be granted the right to charge you a full room rate. 

Technical Information

The virtual conference platform is in development. We are working to ensure virtual participants are able to interact with the on-site faculty and converse with their colleagues. Additional information on the platform will be shared mid-July.

Lectures will be recorded and made available to all registrants for live-stream and on-demand viewing through September 5, 2022.  Questions may be submitted to the speakers when viewing the lectures on-demand and a short evaluation will need to be completed after viewing so you can still earn AOA Category 1-A CME credits.  Additional information will be made available in August.

CME Accreditation Statement

The POFPS CME Symposium is accredited by the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA). POMA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.  POMA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  POMA designates this program for a maximum of 20 AOA Category 1-A Credits and 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and will report CME and specialty credit commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
