Leadership Programs for Students, Residents, and Young Physicians

POMA is committed to helping our osteopathic students, resident and young physicians as they transition to practice, develop life-long career skills, and grow their professional network.  We currently host three leadership forums every year - January (Western PA), May (Eastern PA), August (Central PA).

TEMPORARILY - POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19.  POMA LEADERSHIP IS EXPLORING RESCHEDULING AND VIRTUAL OPTIONS - STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS

Registration is open for the 2020 Spring Resident Program - Register Today

This year, we have devoted an entire day to residents and young physicians during the 2020 POMA Clinical Assembly. On Thursday, April 30 residents from across the Commonwealth will present their own cutting-edge research during two sessions of scientific poster presentations. In between the poster sessions, we will hold the 5th Annual Resident Program.

The program is described as discussion on things that you need to know about real life after residency that no one ever tells you. The topics are chosen by current residents with speakers presenting TED-style presentations that leaves ample time for open discussion and Q&A. See below for this year's agenda.

Registration is free to all osteopathic medical students, interns, residents and fellows - register today! Attendees are responsible for the cost of their own transportation and lodging. Lunch is provided!
Note, POMA can provide confirmation of attendance but no CME credits are provided for this program.
