This page from the Winter 2019 issue of the JPOMA highlights some of the work being done nearly 10 years ago, by POMA staff on behalf of POMA members. It may not be a surprise to you that one of the main topics of conversation was Senate Bill 25, the bill that provides nurse practitioners with independent licensure. POMA has been fighting this legislation for a long time. And, it must be pointed out that the person who wrote this article is now the Chief Executive Officer for POMA!
