District 5 Recap - June 15, 2018
It was the perfect night for baseball as POMA District 5 hosted “A Night at the Ballpark” at FNC Field I Harrisburg. Forty POMA members and their families enjoyed a Double AA baseball game between the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) and the Richmond Fly Squirrels (San Francisco Giants).
The attendees enjoyed a complementary buffet dinner and seats directly behind home plate—so close you could see the batters’ sweat. Participants could network with their local colleagues while enjoying some nice family and friends time on a beautiful late spring evening. After the Senators won 3-0, a wonderful fireworks display capped the great night.
District 5 leadership and fellow districts are looking forward to organizing more family events for the POMA membership in the future.
