Joan M. Grzybowski, DO, Installed as 107th President of Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association

Joan M Grzybowski DOHarrisburg, PA, Friday, June 1, 2018 -- Joan M. Grzybowski, DO, FACOFP, a resident of Conshohocken, was recently installed as 107th president of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), a statewide organization for physicians holding the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Dr. Grzybowski is board-certified in family medicine and employed by Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as an Assistant Professor and practicing physician. Chair of the POMA Executive Committee and the POMA Foundation Board of Directors, she serves as a delegate to the POMA, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP).

Gene M. Battistella, DOHarrisburg, PA, Monday, June 11, 2018 – Gene M. Battistella, DO, a resident of Moon Township, PA, was recently elected as vice president of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), a statewide organization for physicians holding the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Dr. Gene Battistella is board-certified in internal medicine and is a practicing physician for St Clair Medical Services-West Hills Medical Division with an office at Ohio Valley Hospital in McKees Rocks, Pa. Dr. Battistella is also past vice chairman of the Board of Directors and past president of the medical staff at Pittsburgh’s Ohio Valley Hospital in McKees Rocks.

Eric J Milie DO Harrisburg, PA, Monday, June 11, 2018 – Eric J. Milie, DO, F.A.C.O.I., a resident of Erie, PA, was recently chosen as secretary/treasurer of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), a statewide organization for physicians holding the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Dr. Eric Milie is board-certified in internal medicine. He is the assistant clinical professor of internal medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a physician at the Osteopathic Internal Medicine Associates in Erie. He is also an emergency and internal medicine physician at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie. Dr. Milie is the program director, internal medicine residency at Millcreek Community Hospital as well as the medical director of the Erie office of Southern Care Hospice.
